Our two schools have a rich tradition of successful participation in a wide variety of middle school and high school sports at the varsity, junior varsity and club levels. The Sabers teams benefit enormously from the Two Schools model, comprising of student-athletes from both OIS and SIS. Our association with international schools across Asia and domestic schools in Japan create many opportunities for both overseas and domestic competition.

Suita City Duathlon was held on Sunday, May 12th at Suita-shi Sogo Undojo. In total 21 people participated and 9 people placed.

AISA: girls soccer, boys soccer, swimming

The AISA girls soccer team takes place this weekend in Yokohama and the swim team will be in Seoul for their season-ending AISA event. The boys soccer team plays close to home Friday and Saturday at Banpaku koen (PDF) near the Gamba practice facility. This is a full-size pitch with an artificial surface - great playing conditions. Please come and cheer on the mighty Sabers.The girls soccer team is in Yokohama and the swim team is now in Seoul for their respective season-ending AISA events.

Minoh Shimmachi Myoken Sanroku Marathon was held on Sunday, Feb. 12 at the northern part of Minoh-shi. In total 19 people of SOIS participated and 2 people placed.

Kanto Finals / Invitational Cross Country was held at Tam Hills in Tama city in Tokyo on October 15th. This is the biggest cross country race mainly for international schools in Kanto area. Total 8 students of SOIS participated and Marika Fujisaki 藤崎麻理香(SIS10) came second out of 75 varsity runners.
