At Osaka International School we aim to provide the highest quality International Baccalaureate education from kindergarten to high school. Since the school was founded this has resulted in a 96% success rate in obtaining the Diploma (compared to the worldwide rate of 80%), allowing our students to move on to their chosen further education and career paths. OIS, though, offers more. No other international school in the world works in such close cooperation with a domestic school as OIS does with its sister school, SIS. Through this two-school synergy, OIS offers an educational experience unlike any other: a full program of the visual arts, music and sports both within the curriculum and as extra-curricular activities; extensive opportunities for students to develop authentic leadership skills; and wide ranging involvement in service activities that enhance ties within the community and broaden experiences outside of the classroom, all in close cooperation with the host culture. Our goal is to develop well-rounded and well-informed students who are true global citizens. This includes developing the ability to speak more than one language, remaining academically curious and being thoughtful, respectful and resourceful individuals.
