Our parent community is just as diverse, if not more so, in experience of the many cultures of the world than the student body or the faculty and staff. The energy and passion that they bring to supporting the mission of the schools are central to our ability to succeed in what we do. In the same way that our students are proud of being part of such a special place, our parents are, too. There's a special chemistry about the coming together of such a varied set of backgrounds, exemplified by events such as the annual International Fair, a Two Schools parent sponsored and run event.
As well as working together on such major events and volunteering support for others, each school has its own organisation to represent its specific needs. OIS has a PTA and a representative Parent Advisory Council (PAC) which liaises with administration on matters concerning educational program provision in the school. SIS has a Parent Association comprising of committees and a board to represent their interests in the running of the school.
